Live Project BIM Support
Client-side support during delivery to keep information on track, reduce surprises at handover and make sure project outputs are usable in operation
Most capital projects now include BIM and information requirements, but too often nobody is there to make sure they are actually delivered. That is when information quality drops, models and data drift away from requirements, and handover becomes a costly clean-up exercise.
Live project support gives clients independent oversight during delivery. Acting as a digital clerk of works for information, it supports the capital projects team by checking that the right information is being produced, managed and handed over properly. That is especially important on public sector projects, where clients are expected to apply the UK BIM Framework and put the right information management resource in place.

Our approach
Who this is for
Live project support provides ongoing, client-side information management during live capital projects. It acts as a digital clerk of works role, focused on information rather than physical construction quality.
This means providing independent oversight on behalf of the client, making sure information requirements are clearly understood, properly implemented and maintained throughout design and construction.
Why it matters:
Even with clear requirements in place, delivery teams are under pressure to progress design and construction. Without dedicated oversight, information management often becomes secondary.
- Requirements are interpreted differently across project teams
- Models and data drift away from agreed standards
- Issues are identified too late, leading to rework and delays
- Handover information does not align with estates systems
- Capital projects teams have limited visibility of information quality
Supporting the project as it happens allows these issues to be identified early and resolved before they become bigger problems.
What we do:
- Act as client-side information manager for live capital projects
- Provide a digital clerk of works function focused on information quality
- Review and respond to BIM execution plans
- Set up and manage information delivery plans
- Check models and data against client requirements
- Support CDE setup and information workflows
- Manage information exchanges at key project stages
- Validate COBie and asset data before handover
- Coordinate with design teams and contractors on information issues
- Provide clear reporting back to capital projects and estates team
Outcomes
- Information delivered in a format that supports operations and estates teams
- Reduced rework and fewer issues at handover
- Clear alignment between BIM data and estates systems
- Improved visibility for capital projects teams
- Better compliance with ISO 19650 processes
